Destined to bring light into the world, an orb breaks free of its shell after unveiling a crystalline object radiating immense power. The orb discovers its power to illuminate anything it touches and explores the world around it lighting it up. It soon stumbles upon an ominous crack in the ground and follows the trail only to uncover a vast crystal object that can not be lit clearly but is drawn to the light of the orb.

This only the beginning of a 2 Act short.

LORE

Theia was revered as the goddess that gave light to the world, and everything that associated with light. She gave her children to the world;  the moon, the sun, the dawn. Because of this, she is also the goddess of sight and all things that shine including what man gave high value to (gold and silver). Without light, there was no sight so she is considered the bringer of sight and the ability to see ahead or prophesize.

This piece is about Eos the daughter of Theia, the bringer of dawn as the embodiment of giving the gift of sight. The idea is that all of these things are linked hence the orb falls to the earth and looks to light up objects. The Greeks had the idea that our eyes are our lights that make objects seen.
